About the Opportunity

The Payroll & Billing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the onboarding of professionals across more than 150 countries. This position ensures accurate and timely management of international expense and billing processes while providing direct support to customers, employees, and service providers. The role contributes to the organization by maintaining compliance with regional tax laws and enhancing operational accuracy within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end international expense management processes.
  • Review LATAM country expenses according to local tax laws and address related queries.
  • Serve as the main contact for expense inquiries from customers, employees, and service providers.
  • Generate customer bills based on invoice submissions and expense compliance.
  • Issue bills for various services such as Employer of Record and advisory services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in expense review and billing.
  • Experience managing expense reimbursements for the LATAM region.
  • Oversight of accounts payable and invoice processing in Mexico.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices.
  • Experience with accounting and payroll software.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of time-sensitive work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Preferred experience with LATAM countries including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and Chile.
  • Familiarity with Zoho applications and ticketing platforms such as Zendesk or ServiceNow is a plus.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Annual gross base salary range: MXN 308,000 to MXN 385,000 plus variable compensation. Eligibility for commission or annual bonus depending on role classification and performance. Final compensation depends on qualifications, experience, education, and location.
