Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for several hundred employees, ensuring all payments are completed accurately and within scheduled deadlines.
• Administer payroll for a mix of non-exempt staff, salaried team members, and hourly interns while applying the correct pay practices for each group.
• Review, update, and maintain employee payroll data to keep records current and properly documented.
• Collapse payroll support across four primary office locations as well as employees working remotely.
• Maintain accuracy and alignment of payroll records with internal policies and applicable payroll standards.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and other internal teams to address payroll inquiries, employee changes, and related administrative updates.
• Aid in handling increased payroll demands and workforce expansion due to an upcoming merger.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience processing full-cycle payroll in a detail-focused business environment.
• Background supporting payroll for employee populations ranging from approximately 100 to 500 workers.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and related compliance considerations.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and ADP payroll systems.
• Ability to manage payroll details accurately for hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle deadlines and maintain precise records.
• Clear communication skills for working with internal stakeholders on payroll matters.
