Primary Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees.
- Review and audit employee timecards, hours worked, overtime, paid time off, and payroll adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee earnings information.
- Process employee deductions, garnishments, reimbursements, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Reconcile payroll information and prepare payroll reports as needed.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
- Aid with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
- Support payroll audits and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and proper reporting.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume payroll processing experience.
- Experience managing payroll for 100+ employees preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and overtime calculations.
- Experience working in construction, trades, manufacturing, or other hourly workforce environments is highly preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Preferred Experience: Construction industry payroll experience, Certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting, Multi-state payroll processing, Familiarity with workers' compensation reporting and tracking.
