Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 150 employees.
  • Review time and attendance records, overtime, PTO, shift differentials, and payroll adjustments.
  • Resolve missing punches, timekeeping discrepancies, and payroll exceptions.
  • Maintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, wage changes, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee payroll and timekeeping questions.
  • Auxiliary with quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
  • Utilize ADP/Paycom for payroll and employee record administration.

Accounts Receivable

  • Manage customer invoicing and payment processing.
  • Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Research invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Manage collections and follow up on past-due accounts.
  • Prepare accounts receivable reporting and month-end activities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
  • Experience processing payroll for hourly employees required; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP and/or Paycom strongly preferred.
  • Accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll and wage and hour requirements.
  • Strong Excel, organizational, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict payroll deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
