Payments Performance Strategist, Card Authorization

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven discussions with merchants on payment optimization strategies
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams and merchants
• Create and utilize optimization tools and narratives supported by analysis
• Deploy sophisticated optimization playbooks across customer portfolios
• Relay customer insights to influence the company’s product direction
• Continuously enhance self-service tools and playbooks based on feedback

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payments, operations, or consultancy in a tech context
• Ability to diagnose card authorization issues and recommend solutions
• Expertise in improving merchant authorization rates through various strategies
• Experience collaborating with merchants on A/B testing of authorization rates
• Prominent track record of ensuring optimal onboarding for new payment service providers

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
