Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Supporting customers (and suppliers) through outbound and inbound phone calls to resolve unprocessed or unsettled transactions.
- Educating suppliers on payment processes.
- Manage escalated issues, including misapplied payments and complex payment scenarios.
- Verify contact information and remit-to information for processing of electronic payments.
- Accurately enter information into the database.
- Maintain accurate notes of supplier contact and reach-out attempts.
- Work closely with the Recovery team to coordinate refunds and reissues.
- Conduct training with new hires.
- Adhere to strict compliance procedures and maintain confidentiality related to the position.
- Perform miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.
- A high school education or equivalent.
- College coursework preferred.
- Minimum of one year of customer service or data entry with customer contact experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, and intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Skills in Customer and Personal Service, Active Listening and Speaking, Data Entry and Verification, Administrative, and Technology.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and data-driven tools.
- Ability to learn Corpay systems and software.
- Use of database products, CRM software (Salesforce), ticketing software (Zendesk), fax and phone systems.
