Payment Processing Specialist – Full Time

About the role

This on‑site position in Clifton Forge, VA is for a Payment Processing Specialist who will analyze financial information, prepare reconciliations and other financial reports, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Applicants must reside within 75 miles of Clifton Forge, VA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve chargebacks from credit‑card transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile transactions and report discrepancies.
• Generate and mail letters as directed.
• Process, verify, and apply applicable fees to customer accounts/violations within one business day of receipt.
• Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts.

Requirements

• Experience in bank reconciliation is a plus.
• Accuracy‑driven and organized work style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level, able to maintain complex spreadsheets).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Six months or more of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• No heavy lifting is expected.
• Occasional exertion of up to 10 lb of force may be required.

Pay

Base wage starting at $16.25 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities.
