Payment Domain Architect

About the role

We are looking for architects with 10+ years' experience in the payments domain, preferably at an acquirer or network working in core payments processing. Ideal candidates should have firsthand experience in designing target architectures for companies with significant duplicate platforms and systems, running evaluation processes to identify the right forward platform/systems, and building realistic timelines for client migrations and cutover.

Responsibilities

• Designing target architecture for a company with a starting point of significant duplicate platforms and systems (at both business and application levels).
• Conducting hands-on technical forensics as part of the evaluation process to identify the right forward platform/systems.
• Building realistic timelines for client migrations and cutover.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the payments domain.
• Experience working at an acquirer or network in core payments processing.
• First-hand experience in designing and evaluating payment systems.
• Strong understanding of relevant evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to build and manage project timelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven track record in architecting and implementing complex payment systems.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and digital transformation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
