Sr Payment Domain Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Sr Payment Domain Architect with 10+ years of experience in payments domain, preferably at an acquirer or network working in core payments processing. The ideal candidate should have first-hand experience in designing target architectures for companies with significant duplicate platforms and systems, running evaluation processes to identify the right forward platform/systems, and building realistic timelines for client migration and cutover.

Responsibilities

• Designing target architecture for a company with a starting point of significant duplicate platforms and systems (at business and application level, but also at the solution detail).
• Running evaluation process to identify the right forward platform/system by domain (incl. a perspective on the right evaluation frameworks, conducting hands-on technical forensics as part of evaluation).
• Building realistic timelines for client migration and cutover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in payments domain, preferably at an acquirer or network working in core payments processing.
• First-hand experience in designing target architectures for companies with significant duplicate platforms and systems.
• Experience in running evaluation processes to identify the right forward platform/systems.
• Experience in building realistic timelines for client migration and cutover.

Skills

• Strong understanding of payment systems and processes.
• Experience in architecting and implementing complex payment solutions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
