Sr Payment Domain Architect or Expert (Atlanta, GA) Onsite

About the role

The role is for a Senior Payment Domain Architect/ Senior Payments Domain Expert with 10+ years of experience ideally in an acquirer or network working in core payments processing. The ideal candidate should have first-hand experience in designing target architectures for companies with significant duplicate platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Running evaluation processes to identify the right forward platform/system by domain, including a perspective on the right evaluation frameworks.
• Conducting hands-on technical forensics as part of the evaluation process.
• Building realistic timelines for client migration and cutover.

Requirements

• Significant experience in the payments domain, preferably at an acquirer or network.
• Experience in designing target architectures for companies with significant duplicate platforms and systems.
• Experience in evaluating and selecting new payment platforms/systems.
• Strong understanding of evaluation frameworks relevant to the payments domain.
• Hands-on technical skills to conduct forensics during platform evaluations.
• Experience in managing and leading large-scale platform consolidation projects in payments.
• Ability to build and manage realistic timelines for client migrations and cutover processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the payments domain.
• Proven track record in architecting and implementing complex payment solutions.
• Experience in leading teams through large-scale platform consolidation efforts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
