Patient Transporter-PT, Varies/Rotating

Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center. Performs various patient-related activities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients in a safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics at all times
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers within the Patient Transportation Department and other departments
• Use Epic software to track patient locations as they move to and from designated areas
• Use Epic software to track equipment movement throughout the facility

Requirements

• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Two years of customer service experience

Part-Time (16 hours per week), shift varies/rotating
