About the role
The transporter provides safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provides safety, basic physical care, and comfort measures for patients.
- Maintains a clean, organized environment.
- Helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical and ancillary staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Proper body mechanics, ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
