About the role

The transporter provides safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility. They also provide basic physical care, comfort measures, and maintain a clean, organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility.
• Provide basic physical care and comfort measures for patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical and ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Proper body mechanics, ability to read, write, speak and understand English
