Patient Transporter | PRN

About the role

The transporter provides safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Administration, Supervisor, RN, and LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety, basic physical care, and comfort measures for patients.
• Maintains a clean, organized environment.
• Helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical and ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Proper body mechanics, ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
