Patient Transporter - Clinical Support (Days)

About the role

The Imaging Patient Transporter transports patients between hospital areas and assists with routine tasks under the supervision of imaging personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lift team member for Imaging staff and other hospital personnel.
• Perform chest compressions during a code blue and assist in crisis prevention interactions.
• Complete department orientation program and obtain CPI and CPR certifications.
• Support organizational goals and adhere to ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by being congenial, considerate, and efficient.
• Assist with transporting patient records and equipment, and retrieving clinical reports using basic computer skills.
• Participate in housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire
• Knowledge of keyboard, function keys, and mouse usage
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently during slow periods
• Emotional maturity and stability
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and rotating shifts
• Completion of orientation and on-the-job training within 90 days
