PATIENT TRANSPORTER
About the Role
Missouri Baptist Medical Center has openings for a Patient Transporter. This role offers daily pay and is ideal for those looking to start a career in health care. Available shifts are:
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Shifts are Monday through Friday. The role involves transporting patients and medical equipment throughout the hospital campus.

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound, and pain management services. Responsibilities
- Transports and lifts non-ambulatory patients, x-rays, medical records, specimens, and other special deliveries throughout the hospital campus.
- Pays close attention to patient safety protocols.
- Keeps equipment clean and functional.
- Completes assigned tasks within department expectations.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Supervisor Experience: Not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (CPR/AED) certification
