About the role
We are supporting a healthcare services organization seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to help patients access prescription medications and related support. This role plays an important part in delivering a white-glove experience by guiding patients, providers, and pharmacies through program information, reimbursement support, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
- Support access to care and reimbursement needs with a strong focus on empathy and the consumer experience.
- Process claims and answer calls based on volume, while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Escalate requests as needed and partner with internal teams to help resolve issues.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 1 year of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center environment, or a similar environment, is preferred.
- Experience working in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing is preferred.
- Strong patient care, case management, customer empathy, emotional intelligence, communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Fluent English and Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills are listed as a plus.
- Experience with Third-Party systems such as SelectRx, Pro-Care, or FSV is listed as a plus, as is experience with call center software such as Five9 or In-Contact.
