About the organization
Community Medical Services (CMS) is a CARF-accredited addiction treatment program providing outpatient medication-assisted treatment and one-on-one and group counseling to individuals seeking help with opioid use disorder. Headquartered in Arizona with more than 70 treatment clinics in 14 states, CMS is dedicated to addressing the opioid epidemic in communities where treatment is lacking.
Schedule
8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote).
Responsibilities
Client Support & Assistance
- Serve as a first point of contact for basic client inquiries via phone, email, or internal systems.
- Assist clients with onboarding steps, documentation collection, and general program navigation.
- Escalate complex client issues to senior staff or leadership as appropriate.
Administrative Support
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate client information in CMS systems.
- Assist with intake packets, authorizations, and required forms.
- Support tracking client requests and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.
Compliance & Quality Support
- Follow CMS policies, HIPAA guidelines, and documentation standards.
- Report potential quality of care or service concerns to leadership.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and training as assigned.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Senior Coordinators and leadership to learn workflows and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and training opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare support, or administrative roles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CMS internet engines.
Preferred
- Associate’s degree or coursework in healthcare, social services, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or client-facing roles.
