About the role

The Patient Support Coordinator creates an outstanding experience at every interaction for both new and existing customers. Through collaboration with supported dental offices, the role involves learning dental terminology and procedures to educate patients and help complete their care.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with patients who need to complete dental treatment or have questions regarding dental needs and scheduling appointments.
  • Handle a high volume of calls regarding Denti-Cal, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and other insurances.
  • Navigate systems to look up existing patients’ information in dental systems.
  • Conduct aggressive outbound call efforts and follow-ups on patients with incomplete care, including missed or canceled appointments.
  • Foster strong, professional, and positive communication with peers, customers, and supported dental office team members.
  • Surpass quality assurance, productivity, and dependability expectations.
  • Follow best practices and adhere to pre-approved procedures for escalating patient concerns.
  • Educate new and existing customers about available plans, products, and services.
  • Multitask, including understanding multiple plans and different benefit levels within each plan.
  • Analyze and solve customer problems independently, making solid decisions.
  • Possess an assertive work ethic and comfort overcoming objections to increase performance conversions.
  • Engage in a high-energy, collaborative work environment with accessible and knowledgeable leadership.
  • Maintain focus and productivity despite repetitive tasks.
  • Act as an extension of dental offices nationwide, supporting the building of provider schedules through partnership with assigned offices.
  • Meet KPIs for inbound and outbound calls and appointment bookings.

Requirements

  • Experience with Denticon and Genesys is highly preferred.
  • Must be available to work Monday–Friday remotely with a private workspace and secure internet connection.
  • Must be available from 7 AM–6 PM Eastern, Central, and Pacific time.
