Job Requirements
- Welcomes patients and visitors as they enter clinic/department.
- Directs them to appropriate location including clinical, ancillary or business areas.
- Helps patients needing assistance.
- Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using body mechanics techniques.
- Follows clinic protocol in alerting appropriate personnel in emergency situations.
- Handles customer concerns in helpful, objective manner, involving manager as appropriate.
- Arranges for necessary transportation including cabs, clinic vans.
- Maintains lost and found.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or GED Required.
- 1-3 years Minimum of one year customer service experience or volunteer position.
- Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of customer service concepts, clinic policies/procedures, emergency protocols, appropriate welcoming techniques, providing current directions, behaving appropriately in all situations, communicating clearly and positively, following oral and written instructions, maintaining attractive lobby/waiting areas.
