Patient Sitter - Emergency Services

About the role

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Designee, performs a variety of tasks to ensure that assigned patient(s) remains safe. This may include close, continuous observation to maintain patient safety, comfort, and a safe patient care environment. Basic patient care tasks may be delegated by the Registered Nurse. The sitter will document all patient observation and care activities. Also performs non-direct patient care duties as assigned. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Location: Centralia Hospital, Centralia, WA.

• Maintain patient comfort and a safe patient care environment.
• Perform basic patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Document all patient observation and care activities.
• Perform non-direct patient care duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (upon hire): National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications: Enrolled in or completion of a CNA course.

Pay

Pay range: $20.79 – $31.74 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full‑time position with day shift.
