Patient Services Specialist - Sleep Laboratory
About the Role
Under the immediate direction of the Lead and Supervisor, the registration specialist is competent in insurance verification and performs specific routines, ensuring that each admission conforms to the defined policies and procedures. The Registration Specialist is cross-trained to perform duties of PBX Operator and assists in deposit functions and incoming/outgoing mail. Interacts with infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an age-appropriate manner.

Responsibilities
- Perform insurance verification and ensure admissions conform to policies and procedures.
- Cross-trained duties as a PBX Operator.
- Assist in deposit functions and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
- Interact with patients of all age groups in an age-appropriate manner.
Requirements
- Extensive customer-oriented experience.
- Computer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework or training.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.15 - $29.55 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
