About the role

The Patient Services Specialist – Journey Level performs all core front-office functions with increased independence and efficiency. This role is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, and general clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration and appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services.
• Handle general clerical duties, including but not limited to data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Support the care team by demonstrating a commitment to compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 1 year medical office experience or related healthcare experience, OR
• 6 months experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PSS position.

Base pay range: $21.30 - $31.54. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
