Patient Services Specialist - Part-Time

About the role

The Precision Eyecare - Mountain View clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join their dynamic and rewarding team. This is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week, with clinic hours Tuesday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage check-in and check-out, and engage with patients in various ways
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Cook up and manage appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and handle billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Perform additional duties as required to support clinic operations

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

The expected starting compensation for this position is between $21.18 to $23.18 hourly, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.
