About the role

The Patient Services Specialist – Journey Level performs all core front-office functions with increased independence and efficiency. This role is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, and general clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration and appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services.
• Handle general clerical duties, including maintaining patient records and managing administrative tasks.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the care team by demonstrating a commitment to compassionate service and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 1 year medical office experience or related healthcare experience, OR
• 6 months experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PSS position.
