Responsibilities

• Checking in/out patients and scheduling appointments or surgeries efficiently.
• Managing insurance information, referrals, and electronic fax submissions.
• Updating registration and EMR records accurately.
• Answering multi-line phones and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of medical office experience, with GI or surgical scheduling preferred.
• Prior EMR experience, preferably with Epic.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Strong communication, independence, multitasking, and a team-oriented attitude.
