Patient Services Representative | PRN

Position Highlights

• PRN (scheduled as needed)

What You Will Do

• Welcome patients, check them in, and complete registration
• Verify demographics, insurance, and collect service payments
• Handle insurance verifications, authorizations, and consent/waiver forms
• Scan all pertinent information into the patient’s record
• Answer and address calls, messages, and faxes
• Manage computer appointment scheduling
• Coordinate between nurses, physicians, and patients
• Direct patients to ancillary services as needed

Essential Qualifications

• Must be able to work the specified hours
• Must have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others
• Must have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds

Required Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• High School or GED Equivalent or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
