About the role

The Patient Services Representative is the first face our patients see and the first voice they hear. We're looking for someone to join our float pool on a per diem basis, based out of our Plano, TX location and covering shifts across our Dallas-area locations as needed, including Dallas Baylor, Dallas Perot, Rockwall, and Southlake. This is a great fit for someone who brings professionalism to patient-facing work and understands that in a fertility clinic, warmth and composure aren't just nice to have, they're part of the care.

Schedule

This is a per diem, floating position with shifts offered on an as-needed basis. You'll be asked to work a minimum of 3 shifts per month (including 2 Saturdays per month) and holidays alongside weekday coverage. Typical shifts run 6:30am to 4:00pm on weekdays and 6:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Collect service payments and reconcile daily transactions
  • Manage incoming calls and route them accurately to the right teams, prioritizing by urgency
  • Guide patients through clinic policies and assist with required forms
  • Verify and document insurance benefits and coverage in patient charts
  • Log all interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Coordinate with care teams on schedule changes and patient flow
  • Handle filing, scanning, and faxing to support clinic operations
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service in a professional setting; healthcare or clinical front desk experience is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly valued
  • Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • The ability to make patients feel heard and at ease, even when they are stressed or scared
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, or a demonstrated ability to learn software quickly
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and clinic procedures is a plus; we provide training
  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
