About the role

As a Patient Services Representative at Harbor Care in Nashua, NH, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families. Your primary duties include greeting patients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that patient needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and their families warmly and professionally
  • Answer patient inquiries regarding appointment scheduling, insurance coverage, and other related matters
  • Schedule appointments and communicate with healthcare providers as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and communications
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns in a courteous and professional manner
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Harbor Care

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and processes is beneficial

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
