About the role

Las Vegas Foot & Ankle is looking for a Patient Services Representative to answer a high volume of calls, provide excellent customer service, and provide support to the practices.

Responsibilities

  • Answers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracy
  • Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages
  • Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact
  • Makes follow-up calls for any messages left
  • Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately
  • Delivers all communications with excellent customer service
  • Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions
  • Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills
  • Ability to navigate through patient records systems
  • Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills over the telephone
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of medical practice terminology
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to reliably commute to our offices

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in fast-paced scheduling or call center
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred—but willing to train the right individual!
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$18-21 per hour
