What You Will Do
- Tracking outbound / inbound department documentation and communicating patient information
- Performing and completing end of month cleaning, daily temperature logs, and maintaining clinic inventory
- Promoting and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction as evident through positive responsiveness and attentiveness to patient and family needs
Education Qualifications
- A high school diploma with college or specialized training
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Previous experience with Insurance Payer regulations preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Prior experience with interpreting and following detailed policies and workflows
- Prior experience with electronic medical records in a healthcare environment
- Prior experience obtaining authorizations and scheduling appointments, rehabilitation preferred
Skills And Abilities
- Medical Terminology knowledge required
- Customer service experience
- Time Management skills/ability to multi-task preferred
- Demonstrates the ability to independently think and make judgments in interpreting and adapting guidelines and making judgment decisions on specific problems
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certified - American Heart Association
