About the role
Floating between any of Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories’ patient service centers and collection sites, the Patient Services Float Phlebotomist collects and processes laboratory specimens and performs associated clerical functions pertaining to patient, client, and billing functions.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of phlebotomy course including clinicals and 1 year phlebotomy experience including adult, pediatric and geriatric draws, or 2 years full time phlebotomy experience including a minimum of 100 draws
- Windows-based computer skills
- Skilled in clerical functions such as telephones, e-mails, pagers, running copy and fax machines
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and Department of Motor Vehicle record meeting the requirements of Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories’ Driving Record Standards policy
- Map reading and way-finding skills throughout Greater Milwaukee area
