About the role
Lead and manage a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect. Perform daily inspections, patient rounding, assessments, coaching, and counseling. Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient satisfaction and nourishment. Implement, manage, and maintain the patient ambassador program for high-quality service. Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, and development
- Lead and manage the patient ambassador program for high-quality service
- Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient satisfaction and nourishment
- Take action and provide excellent customer service to correct any issues that occur
- Participate in departmental meetings and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs, promoting collaboration and teamwork
- Participate in patient experience workshops and projects led by the organizations
Requirements
- Experience managing a team and in customer service
- Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
- Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent
- Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or Licensed Dietitian preferred
- Working knowledge of Press Ganey/NRC Picker
