Responsibilities
- Process referrals and schedule patients
- Complete intake process, data entry, and insurance verification
- Obtain authorizations and review benefits with patients
- Collect copays
- Arrive and schedule patients
- Generate billing reports and close daily reports
- Perform other tasks as needed
- Greet patients and answer phones
- Handle patient intake and data entry
- Verify insurance and obtain pre-authorizations
- Schedule patient appointments
- Operate front office of outpatient centers
- Support therapists and therapy assistants
- Perform daily cash balancing and weekly banking deposits
- Travel to other locations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Organized, adaptable, and able to work well with others or independently
- Outstanding customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of insurance verification
- Healthcare, medical, or dental office administration experience
