Patient Service Specialist- FLOAT/SPLIT

About the role

Will be required to float into various locations including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, St. Charles County, and selected Illinois counties.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in scheduling software.

Pay

$19/hour, with increases based on experience.

Monday- Floating
Tuesday- Ballwin 1:30-6:30
Wednesday- Floating
Thursday- Floating
Friday- Ballwin 1:30-6:30
