Patient Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet patients
• Check patients in and out and collect fees
• Ensure that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and entered in the EHR
• Answer telephone, take messages and make appointments
• Maintain regular attendance (essential job function)

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• This is a Safety Sensitive position (the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593)
• Facial piercings are not allowed
