Patient Service Representative - Rheumatology - Full-Time – Holladay

Granger Medical Clinic is one of the largest independent, physician-owned medical clinic groups in Utah. We are looking for an experienced, friendly, professional Patient Service Representative to join our Rheumatology team.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, full time (32-40 hours)

Pay

$18.00/hr

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Previous medical billing / office experience preferred
• Experience in scheduling medical office appointments
• Professional phone manner
• Knowledge of medical terminology would be extremely helpful
• Excellent customer service, communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Must be a team player and enjoy working with people
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments in accordance with established procedures
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs
• Prepare charts for providers
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10 lbs
• Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
• Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
