Patient Service Representative General Surgery Wound Care Clinic

Responsibilities

• Greets patients to complete check-in/out process.
• OBTAINS demographic and financial information for scheduling/registration process.
• COLLECTS payments for co-pays, self-pay, and additional balances.
• ANSWERS Five 9 calls in a timely manner and completes queue call backs.
• ASSISTS with completing prior-authorizations for in-office and hospital procedures.
• ASSISTS with WQ's and On Base.
• PERFORMS additional administrative duties as needed.
• PROVIDES great customer service to all patients, staff, and vendors within the organization.
• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Qualifications

• HIGH SCHOOL GRAD or EQUIV [REQUIRED]
• 1+ YEAR of experience in healthcare [REQUIRED]
• 3+ YEARS' experience in healthcare registration and insurance process [PREFERRED]
