Patient Services Representative - General and Vascular Surgery

About the role

BayCare Clinic's mission is to provide measurably superior specialty medical services to our patients. BayCare Clinic General and Vascular Surgery is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients.
• Affords assistance in filling out patient forms.
• Answers phones, takes messages, and routes calls when necessary.
• Develops patient charts.
• Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Collects co-payments from patients.
• Performs general office duties.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.
• Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
• Possesses strong desktop computer skills.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!
