Patient Service Representative, CEP Urology
About the role
The Patient Service Representative will have the primary responsibility to greet, instruct, direct, answer phones, and schedule patients. Serve as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet and instruct patients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Direct patients to appropriate departments or personnel
- Provide general information about the facility and its services
- Handle inquiries from patients and visitors
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Word processing and computer experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare medical clinic setting or customer service
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
