Job Summary
Patient Care Representatives greet and direct patients, assist with check-ins, and handle administrative tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain reception areas and provide assistance as needed.
- Verify and assist with patient information and questionnaires.
- Print and disseminate appointment schedules.
- Handle walk-in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pick-ups.
- Maintain a tidy workspace ensuring patient and staff safety.
- Confirm appointments and collect payments.
- Complete administrative tasks as requested.
Competencies
- Knowledge of materials, methods, instruments, and equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task.
- Positive response to patient requests.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Prior experience in customer service roles.
- Must be able to work under pressure and respond positively to patient requests.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
