Patient Service Rep - Skinner Dermatology and Mohs Surgery

About the role

University Physicians’ Association is seeking a qualified Patient Service Representative for Skinner Dermatology and Mohs Surgery LLC. This is a full-time position.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner
• Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office
• Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
• Ensure good patient flow through the practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at the front office
• Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions
• Refer patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to nurse or physician
• Schedule patients with the appropriate physician
• Document scanning into the electronic health record
• Other duties as assigned

• Prior medical experience is required
