About the role
The Patient Scheduling Call Center Agent is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient physician appointments in the registration system, insurance verification, routing calls and communicating to the appropriate department or physician offices. Duties include:
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Scheduling all patient appointments for the physician practices including cancellations and changes
- Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics
- Selecting accurate insurance carrier plans and informing the patient of any out-of-network carriers
- Providing Good Faith Estimates upon patient request
Qualifications
- One year of call center customer service experience highly preferred
- This Work from Home position requires living within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (located in FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA)
- Must be able to handle high inbound call volumes and meet daily metrics

- Full-time: No weekend requirement, 8:30am-5:00pm CST, 9:30am-6:00pm CST, 10:30am-7:00pm CST, 8:30am-4:30pm CST + 1 half day, 1:00pm-5:30pm CST, 10:30am-7:30pm CST + 1 half day, 3:00pm-7:00pm CST
- Part-time: No weekend requirement, Early Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm CST + 1 half day, 8:00am-12:00pm CST, Standard Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm CST + 1 half day, 1:00pm-5:30pm CST, Mid Shift: 10:30am-7:30pm CST + 1 half day, 3:00pm-7:00pm CST
