Responsibilities

• Contact patients via phone to make provider appointments and ensure patients accept the date and time of visit.
• Contact senior living communities and assisted living facilities where patients reside to make and confirm appointments.
• Handle all calls concerning patient appointments and scheduling changes from the patient and/or provider.
• Perform accurate data entry when adding patient information into electronic medical records.
• Update data in the database regarding demographic and service location information.
• Ensure new patients are scheduled and that follow-up appointments are rescheduled appropriately.
• Schedule all annual wellness visits within the allotted time dictated by the payor source.
• Create efficient schedules to assist providers in meeting productivity requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous office experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read maps with a general knowledge of the demographic area.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Scheduling experience.

Location

Home Office: Saginaw, MI

Schedule

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Pay

$18—$22 USD per hour
