Responsibilities
- Coordinates initiation, leading, and follow up significant event reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
- Leads and/or provides guidance and education as needed regarding RCA processes.
- Oversees and tracks the implementation of corrective action plans resulting from RCA processes.
- Affords assistance and/or coordination in debriefing processes as required.
Requirements
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse, LPN, Respiratory Care Practitioner, or Physical Therapy License.
- If RN/LPN and license is a compact status, it must be in the RN/LPN's state of residence.
- Previous years experience in risk management.
- Patient Safety or Risk Management Certification preferred.
- Degree/licensure in a clinical field, Risk Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- National certification(s) such as: CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management), CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety), or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
Preferred Requirements
- Degree/licensure in a clinical field, Risk Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- National certification(s) such as: CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management), CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety), or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
