Doctors Medical Center (DMC), part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System, is the largest full-care hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a 394-bed general acute care and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. Responsibilities

• Investigates patient safety issues within the organization; leads or facilitates Root Cause Analysis, Focused Reviews, and Intense Analysis
• Ensures timely identification of trends and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Maintains compliance with audits and monitoring as defined in action plans
• Reviews and closes all Safety Events reported in the event reporting system
• Verifies all Safety Events are routed to the appropriate department leaders for review; notifies Risk Management of potential risk issues
• Leads initiatives focused on high reliability, zero harm, and culture of safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a patient care related field (Required)
• 5+ years of combined experience in clinical practice and progressive healthcare leadership experience (Required)
• 2 years of experience in Patient Safety, Quality, Risk Management, or healthcare operations (Preferred)
• CPPS Certification or eligible to take the exam within one year of employment (Required)

Pay

$116,480 - $187,200. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience. Calculated based on a full-time position.
