Patient Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Investigates patient safety issues within the organization;
  
• Leads or facilitates Root Cause Analysis, Focused Reviews, and Intense Analysis;
  
• Ensures timely identification of trends and implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
  
• Reviews and closes all Safety Events reported in the event reporting system;
  
• Verifies all Safety Events are routed to the appropriate department leaders for review;
  
• Notifies Risk Management of potential risk issues;
  
• Lead initiatives focused on high reliability, zero harm, and culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a patient care related field.
  
• Experience: 5+ years of combined experience in clinical practice and progressive healthcare leadership experience
  
• Certification: CPPS Certification or eligible to take the exam within one year of employment

Pay

$116,480 - $187,200
**Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
