About the role

MD Now Urgent Care Clinic hours are Monday–Sunday, 8 am–8 pm. You must have flexibility to work during those hours. We are seeking a Patient Care Representative to provide expertise and champion patient care within our team.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner
• Ensure all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions to others as needed
• Verify insurance timely and accurately
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are completed
• Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect necessary insurance/demographic information
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, including accounting for and documenting all forms of payment

Requirements

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start (required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs
