Patient Relations Rep II - Front Office - FPG Endocrinology, Sarasota
About the role
The Patient Relations Rep II is responsible for patient related activities within the office including patient scheduling, patient check-in, checkout, and follow up activities/communications. This position acts as a liaison between the physician, patient, the office and insurance company. Handles collections of monies from patient at time of checkout. Meets all compliance standards. Observes strict confidentiality in dealing with patients and patient information.

Requirements
- Some college or vocational training.
- One (1) year of experience in a physician office.
- Knowledge of EHR/EMR.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Skills in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access).
- A professional, neat appearance with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of third party payers.
