Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the Patient Relations email in-box for all correspondences received and appropriately handle according to standardized procedures and policies.
- Answer incoming calls, compose email identifying case as a complaint and/or request, draft and forward to appropriate clinical and operations personnel for review and action.
- Act as a point person, directing incoming workflow, track open cases, and identify inquiries that need to be brought to conclusion.
- Enter new cases and update cases into the Patient Relations database.
- Prepare and conduct administrative staff trainings.
- Review and address non-clinical complaints.
- Interact with health care providers and administrators as well as communicate with patients, family members, attorneys, and advocacy groups.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling; and one (1) year of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment;
- orBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines listed in “1” above; and two(2)years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment;
- orA satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, in which each year of relevant training and/or experience can be substituted for 30 semester credits from an accredited college or university. However, all applicants must at least have a Bachelor’s degree or its educational equivalent.

- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new concepts and technology.
